REACH Wokingham

BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE hosts REACH WOKINGHAM, the Parent Forum for disabled children in Wokingham. It has successfully brought together a strong panel of 10 parents of disabled children who act as a voice for all the other families in the area. They consult with parents on a regular basis and meet regularly as a team.
Under the Government's Aiming High for Disabled children initiative each Borough must have its own Parents' Forum. This forum acts as a bridge between hundreds of isolated families and the services that they use - health, social services and education. REACH Wokingham is supported every step of the way by BFTF and is a strong, powerful parent-run organisation working towards making changes for the better for families of disabled children.
