Building For The Future

Announcing: It's alright - it's our very own music video!  Please help us to raise funds by following this link to itunes and downloading your own copy of the track.

Building For The Future was founded in 2007 by a group of parents of disabled children. The aim was to raise enough money to fund a much-needed community centre for disabled children and their families in Wokingham Borough.

The building is called Our House and, after seven years of hardwork and fundraising, the centre was officially opened on 6th May 2014 by TRHs the Earl and Countess of Wessex. You can view the occasion here.

Our House is a unique place where

- families can meet and children are celebrated

- parents can support each other and find out information about raising their disabled child

- siblings can make friends with each other and grandparents can chat over a cup of coffee

- disabled children can play, be properly included, be able to access everything and where they will be valued and truly accepted for who they are.

The facilities can also be hired for private functions including Birthday parties. Our House, Building for the Future, Toutley Road, layout
