The Trustees of Building for the Future are proud to announce that 'Our House' was officially opened on 6th May by TRH's the Earl and Countess of Wessex. You can view the occasion here.
Building For The Future was founded in 2007 by a group of parents of disabled children. Our aim was to raise enough money to fund a much-needed community centre for disabled children and their families in Wokingham Borough.
A building where families can meet and children are celebrated. Where parents can support each other and find out information about raising their disabled child. Where siblings can make friends with each other and grandparents can chat over a cup of coffee.
A place where disabled children can play, be properly included, be able to access everything and where they will be valued and truly accepted for who they are.
Over the years, we have worked hard, alongside caring for our children, to make our dream come true.
Now we are very proud to announce that we have our new building and need your help and support more than ever. 'Our House' will be based at Charles Annexe, Toutley Road, Wokingham and is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment. Please get in touch for more information and consider how you might be able to help with fundraising or giving your time to this fabulous project.
