Help Us.

As a charity we are totally dependent upon fundraising and donations to enable us to run and maintain Our House, provide activities, therapies and events, and to support the families who use our facilities each year. We receive no funding from local authorities, central government or national bodies. If you would like to find out more about how you can help us please contact us. We would be delighted to hear from you.

One quick and simple way to create a huge impact is to buy something from our Amazon Wishlist.

We have essential, everyday items plus amazing toys and sensory equipment vital for developmental play at Our House. These items are picked by some of the children and volunteers who use Our House on a regular basis. Help us grant their wishes! https://amzn.eu/4h57hgm

Volunteering

Our charity and centre are almost entirely staffed by volunteers. These wonderful people are the ones who make it all happen – they plan our activities, host our events, maintain and clean the centre and are the core of our fundraising activities. They are a great, friendly team and we would welcome enquiries from anyone wishing to join in and get involved in the work of the centre.

If you’re interested in giving a few hours, or getting involved on a more regular basis, please do contact us to find out more, arrange a visit or share your ideas.

Fund Raising

As a charity we are totally dependent upon fundraising and donations to enable us to run and maintain Our House, provide activities, therapies and events, and to support the families who use our facilities. Every year we take part in a variety of local events, including the Wokingham Winter Carnival, Twyford Christmas Market, etc.

If you would like to get involved in our fundraising activities please contact us to find out more.

Donate

If you would like to make a one off donation or set up a regular gift, please visit our JustGiving page. It’s quick and easy and enables us to claim an additional 25p on every £1 via GiftAid, without costing you a penny extra! We really appreciate your gift and work hard to ensure that every penny we receive is used effectively to provide activities, support and therapy to children with disabilities, their families and carers.

Donate Nectar Points

We have signed up with Crowdfunder to enable our supporters to donate their Nectar points to the charity! This fantastic initiative allows supporters to convert their points to vital cash which enables us to run our services.

All you need to do is click the 'Support us Now' button to the right and follow the instructions to turn your unused points into to funds for BFTF.

Thank you for your generous support.
