We’re thrilled to announce that The Wokingham Word has chosen Building for the Future as its Charity of the Year for 2025!
After visiting our playtherapy centre Our House and learning about our services for disabled children and young people, its Owner and Editor, Carolyn Robinson, shared:
“As a resident of Wokingham for over 20 years and running a magazine that helps connect and inform the community, I knew I had a role to play.
“The Wokingham Word is delivered to 30,000 local homes every month, and is a very effective way for businesses and charities to communicate. So I’ve adopted BftF as my Chosen Charity for 2025."
Carolyn is committed to raising awareness across the area and hopes to engage local businesses in supporting our charity's exciting plans.
“Aside from raising awareness across the Wokingham area, my aim is to reach local businesses who may be able to support the charity with their ambitious plans for this year. Let’s get them into the new home, uplifted by the wonderful Wokingham community!”
