Building for the Future Awards

Amazing individuals and organisations working with Berkshire's disabled children and young people will be honoured this year at the Building for the Future Awards.

Nominations for the area's best teacher or doctor will come from hundreds of parents who use Building for the Future's services at Our House and Building for the Future Plus.

Winners in seven categories will be presented with a special award at a presentation evening at St Anne's Manor, Wokingham, on 20th October.

Each category will be sponsored by a prominent local business and presenting the awards alongside Building for the Future's Chief Executive Jane Holmes is Leader of the Liberal Democrat Party, Sir Ed Davey MP.

Those categories are:

Best Teacher

Best Teaching Assistant

Best Medical Professional

Best Therapist

Best Activity Provider

Best Council Employee (Post 16)

Best Service (Post 16)
