Building for the Future is pleased to announced that it was one of several beneficiaries from the Wokingham Lions' Winter Carnival fundraising.
Funds from the day, November 27, were donated to local charities, and Building for the Future received £3,500 which is a phenomenal amount which will go towards supporting Wokingham's disabled children and young people.
The annual event sees the town centre transformed into a winter wonderland with stalls, games, food and fun and special features such as the laser light show.
Charities are also given the chance to hold fundraising stalls, and in total over £30,000 was raised for local good causes on the day.
Building for the Future's CEO and founder Jane Holmes said:
"We were blown away by the generosity of the Lions, as one of the chosen beneficiaries of the Wokingham Winter Carnival.
"We are so grateful for this support, which will go a long way towards supporting our many activities for disabled children over the winter.
"Thank you Wokingham Lions!"
The date for this year's Wokingham Winter Carnival is Sunday November 26.
