Building for the Future Plus, our charity's support service for young adults aged 18 and over, has launched a disability sports fun club.
Taking place monthly at The Hub, a brand new facility in Buckler's Park, Crowthorne, the two-hour sessions invite young adults with disabilities and their parents and carers to join-in fun games of boccia, new age kurling and other inclusive sports.
The sessions are managed by a volunteer team that includes a boccia coach with ten years' experience and a former England and GB athlete whose aim is to inspire more young people with disabilities to get active.
Thanks to grant funding our charity is able to provide all the essential sports kit, including boccia balls and ramps and kurling stones, pushers, targets and fun games such as skittles and bean bag toss.
Aimed at beginners, BFTF Plus' Disability Sports Fun Club is designed to bring together young people looking to learn new skills and make new friends.
Full teaching and support will be given and everyone is included.
Bookings are advised so please register interest with: melissa@bftf.org.uk
