Worried About Your Child’s Development? You’re Not Alone

As parents, it’s often the quiet worries that weigh the heaviest.

At Our House, we meet families every week who simply want a safe space to ask questions without judgement, pressure, or long waiting lists.

That’s why we’re hosting a Free Paediatric Specialist Coffee Morning.

On Friday March 6th, 9.30–11.30am, three experienced paediatric professionals will be available for informal chats:

• Sharon Wignall – Occupational Therapist

• Lauren Nash – Physiotherapist

• Katy Rimmington – Speech and Language Therapist

All are registered health care professionals specialising in neurodivergence and neurodevelopment.

What This Morning Is (and Isn’t)

This is:

✔ A chance to ask questions

✔ A chance to understand sensory needs

✔ A chance to talk through movement, speech or developmental concerns

✔ A chance to receive practical tips and signposting

✔ A friendly cuppa in an inclusive space

This is not:

✘ A formal assessment

✘ A diagnostic appointment

✘ A pressured environment

Your child does not need to attend - but they’re very welcome to come and play while we chat. If they’re at nursery or preschool, you’re welcome to come alone.

Why We’re Doing This

We know that early questions can feel overwhelming. We also know that sometimes one conversation can bring clarity, reassurance, or the next helpful step.

No parent should feel unsure where to turn.
