Easter Party at Our House

Updated: Apr 17, 2023

Thanks to several kind supporters we were able to give 30 disabled children and siblings an EGGcellent time this Easter with a special party.

Tesco and Wellington College provided the chocolate eggs and party food and a local branch of the Mothers’ Union donated knitted hens with surprises inside!

Local baker, Sue-Ann Marquis, who donated dozens of cakes to our Christmas party, visited us again, this time armed with vanilla cupcakes complete with buttercream icing and the Building for the Future logo in sugarcraft.

Events manager Jema organised a face painter which was really popular with our guests.

And speaking of guests, there was one surprise ‘guest’ who appeared – the Easter bunny himself! He was greeted with gasps and hugs as he delivered his goodies.

It was another lovely, happy occasion at Our House and one that we couldn’t run without our very kind and constant supporters so thank you all.

If you are interested in helping Building for the Future create happy memories for disabled children and their families please write to melissa@bftf.org.uk for details of our next event.
